Job Summary:
The Operations/Project Manager’s key responsibility is ensuring organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the organization's projects and day to day operations. Reporting to the CEO and serving as a member of the Management Team, this position requires findingways to make the company more productive by providing effective methods in its business operations and project plans.
Operation/Project Manager needs to have a strong leadership background and must know how to handle problems quickly and efficiently. In addition, the successful candidate must have great communication skills.
Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies and practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the management team
- Runs complex projects/programs from design and development to production.
- Defines requirements and plan project lifecycle deployment.
- Defines resources and schedule for project/program implementation.
- Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning.
- Plans and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
- Directs and oversees project engineering team and manages conflicts within group.
- Efficiently identifies and solves project issues.
- Demonstrates leadership to define requirements for project risk.
Work Environment:
- Office environment
- Occasional manufacturing environment
- Occasional customer site visits
- International travel is required
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- Budget development and oversight experience
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

Education and Experience:
- MBA with focus on Management or Master of Operations Management
- PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or equivalent preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Technology or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of project management or IT Management.
- Minimum 3 years experience coordinating and/supporting IT business processes
- Operation/Project Managers scheduling and budgeting experience.
- Microsoft Project is an asset
