Sydney, Nova Scotia ----Gaming products developer and manufacturer Techlink Entertainment (Techlink) today announced that BMM Compliance of Nevada, Las Vegas, has approved the Performer gaming machine and 5 games for operation in Casinos. This approval process is lengthy and expensive restricting the number of companies able to pass through. Techlink’s lab approval opens the door for the company to distribute machines in casinos, racinos, and wide area networks across the United States.
“The continued rise in popularity of slot machines and video lottery terminals has fueled significant growth for electronic gaming machine manufacturers and distributors. There are still, at this point, a limited number of companies that can provide product into the market space because of very high barriers to entry. Aside from stringent regulatory controls that all jurisdictions have in place, there are significant technical challenges that require years of research and development to overcome. There is both a science and an art to developing successful gaming products. Technically games have to work reliably and meet stringent requirements for payouts and player protection. In addition to those requirements, however, for games to be successful they have to be both enticing and hold a player’s interest, and that is where the art of gaming kicks in. Techlink has now proven that it is able to provide both sides of this equation” notes John Xidos, President and CEO of Techlink.
Along with the Performer machine, 5 games have also received lab approvals: All in Hold’Em, Poseidon’s Possessions, Mummy’s Delight, Reel Roundup, and Bungle in the Jungle.
Leanne MacKenzie, Vice President Sales adds: “We already have machines out in the marketplace, however, this level of approval opens up a lot of additional opportunities for Techlink. Our development teams have been working very hard developing the Performer and that dedication to excellence is now paying off. We already have machines going into casinos in Oklahoma and are in discussions with several other American jurisdictions.”
